Notes - Obituary for John Lehmann: Former Ishpeming resident John P. "Jack" Lehmann, 68, died Thursday, Aug. 19, 1993 in Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. Mr. Lehmann was born in Iron River and was raised in Ishpeming. He was an auditor for the State of Louisiana. He served in teh U.S. Army Battery D, 798th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion during World War II. He was a member of St. George Catholic Church and the Ushers Club. He's survived by his wife, Patricia Z. Lehmann of Baton Rouge: a daughter, Leslie J. (Medric Jr.) Stein of Baker, La.; a son, John P. (Kathy) Lehmann of Prairieville, La.; a sister, betty Rosten of Negaunee; a brother, William Lehmann of Ishpeming; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Muriel Lehmann of Ishpeming.
Pallbearers were Alan Brown, Richard Hillard, T.J. Flanigan, Russell Lehmann, Medric Stein Jr., and Tommy Gascon.
