  !A short biography of Nanny Longstroth Richards by her daughter Minerva E. Knowlton Richards is appended to "Stephen Longstroth And His Fathers" (SL&HF) by G. F. Tate (1979), FHL 1033523 Item 5. A Family Group Sheet for Willard Richards and Nanny Long- stroth is also included in SL&HF and on file at the FHL Archives (Patrons Section). NOTE: LDS baptism: Some accounts show 4 Mar 1838 (the same as that of her father) but no documentation has been found. The Salt Lake 27th Ward records (and those of Franklin D. Richards) show Nanny baptized 1839 by Thomas Smith, but this was not considered valid. Henry E. Christiansen considered the first valid baptism for Nanny was 29 July 1875 and a letter from the Temple Department (SIS), 23 Apr 1986, confirmed that they were removing the 4 Mar 1838 date and updating it to 29 Jul 1875. NOTE: Endowment: Many records show Nanny endowed on 24 Jan 1846NV but the NV records show this incomplete (W&A only). Consequently it was redone on 21 Jun 1974 (NV Temple Records Reg).
